In Xichuan’s poem, he wrote that: someone turns on a light on the far side of the moon on Halley’s comet
people clap their hands.( 月亮的背后有人开灯)However, when the first time i read this verse ,i translated it as ” someone turn on the moonlight.”
I am obsessed with the moonlight, sea, childhood
found memories with my mother. The moonlight became my paintbrush. In “The Yellow Wallpaper,” moonlight
represents a time for the feminine. During the day, the narrator writes that the woman trapped in the wallpaper is motionless and immobile. As moonlight strikes the wall, however, the woman begins to move or, perhaps more accurately, to creep. I heard a voice said to me: Only the time under the moonlight belong to women.Gilman’s perception of daylight and moonlight is closely related to her views on men and women in society. Daylight represents masculinity. The narrator sees the woman in the wallpaper shake the bars of it trying to get out and creeping around the garden at night, because the moonlight hides her.
So I turned off the moonlight, just like turning off the lamp by my window at dawn to welcome the first rising sun, at that moment ,I looked at the lighthouse in the distance, there
is no more about the mad woman in the attic, or the woman trapped in the wallpaper, that’s another hometown, No matter day or night,
It’s all belong to you.
