In contemporary society, the new form of technology such as Virtual Reality(VR) presents a new perspective for people to rethink the temporal-spatial experiences between analog paintings on the plane and virtual reality digital paintings in cyberspace. Meanwhile, Colour-field painting is well known in the history of recent contemporary painting for its immersive experience that lulls the observer of the painting into contemplation. The abolition of the boundaries of the painting is the indistinctness of space, The viewer is wrapped in a huge canvas, and the viewer gazes and meditates on it as if the vision enters the painting. This leads me to believe that the threshold for visual viewing of depth perception between VR painting and analog color-field painting has a subtle connection.

Threshold means the magnitude or intensity that must be exceeded for a certain reaction, phenomenon, result, or condition to occur or be manifested. The question of visual-physical threshold in painting is not just about frames, but of the sense of passage between worlds.

Painting deals with the threshold between vectors by entering and leaving them. What is real and what is illusionary meet the layering of the world in different ways.
